Fluke 820-2 | LED Stroboscope for Non-Contact Speed & Motion Diagnostics

Inspecting rapidly rotating machinery can be difficult because components appear blurred during normal operation, making mechanical defects hard to identify. The Fluke 820-2 LED Stroboscope uses precisely controlled light flashes to create the appearance of slowed or stationary motion without requiring physical contact with moving equipment.

Its seven-LED array provides high-intensity illumination, while adjustable flash frequency covers 30 to 300,000 flashes per minute. Quartz-controlled timing delivers accuracy of ±(0.02% + 1 digit), making the instrument useful for rotational-speed evaluation and motion investigation.

Digital pulse-width modulation produces sharp visual images even at high speeds. The solid-state LED design avoids conventional strobe-lamp filaments and glass components, supporting reliable portable diagnostics in workshops, production lines and industrial plants.

Non-Contact Motion Diagnostic Selection Guide

Choose the 820-2 when you need to visually inspect moving components or evaluate rotational speed without reflective tape or physical contact.
