Fluke 789 | ProcessMeter with 24V Loop Supply & HART Mode

Testing a field transmitter often requires a multimeter, loop calibrator and separate 24 V supply. The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter combines these functions in one instrument, allowing technicians to troubleshoot electrical circuits and power or calibrate process loops without returning for additional equipment.
Like the 787B, it provides True-RMS measurements to 1000 V and sources, measures and simulates 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA signals. The key upgrade is an integrated 24 V loop power supply, allowing a transmitter to be energized directly during calibration. A selectable HART mode adds a 250 Ω resistor while loop power is active, simplifying work with HART-connected instruments. Manual stepping, Auto Step and Auto Ramp support efficient control-loop checks.
