Fluke 705 | Loop Calibrator for 4-20mA Measure, Source & Simulate

Routine loop checks do not always require advanced digital communications or additional voltage-source functions. The Fluke 705 Loop Calibrator provides the core functions needed for accurate 4–20 mA commissioning and maintenance in a simple handheld instrument.

It measures current from 0 to 24 mA and sources either 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA signals with 0.02% accuracy. Simultaneous mA and percentage-of-span display lets technicians interpret transmitter output quickly, while the internal 24 V loop supply can power a two-wire transmitter during testing. Push-button 25% steps make linearity checks straightforward, and Span Check provides fast zero and span confirmation. Selectable slow and fast output ramps support remote loop testing and valve-response checks.

Everyday Loop Calibrator Selection Guide

Choose the 705 for straightforward 4–20 mA measure, source, simulate and loop-power tasks. Select the 707 when higher mA accuracy and HART-compatible resistance are important.
