Fluke 1502A | Tweener Precision PRT & SPRT Thermometer Readout

Precision resistance thermometry requires a readout capable of resolving very small temperature changes without the cost and complexity of a full laboratory bridge. The Fluke Calibration 1502A Tweener Thermometer Readout is designed for 25 Ω and 100 Ω RTDs and SPRTs, providing high-accuracy temperature measurements for calibration and reference work.

The catalogue states temperature accuracy up to ±0.006°C, making the 1502A suitable for calibration laboratories, sensor characterization and secondary reference applications. Optional configurations are available with IEEE-488 communication, while accessories include carrying cases, spare connectors and serial-interface hardware. Its dedicated design for lower-resistance PRT and SPRT sensors differentiates it from the 1504, which is intended primarily for thermistors and higher-resistance RTDs.

PRT Readout Selection Guide

Choose the 1502A for 25 Ω and 100 Ω RTDs or SPRTs. Choose the 1504 for thermistors or RTDs with nominal resistance of 1000 Ω or higher.
